Congratulations on the addition of a new member to Craigs Family, Charlotte Burdett Coulson with proud father pictured below. We wish them well.

As members will be aware our long standing Secretary Mike Luscombe stood down from re-election at the recent AGM due to ill health, we are pleased to announce that Phil Lydiard (Training Officer) has agreed to take on the Secretary`s post , the vacancy left by this move has been filled by Chris Godfrey( Instructor) both committee members. Thank you gentlemen true club spirit.

Winter flying at Warboys.

A lot of fun can be had despite the conditions prevailing this time of the year.

The little-reported RMAC ‘first’ earlier in the year of a glider aerotow from the snow,

utilised a much – modified Boomerang trainer , towing a Multiplex EasyGlider.

Andy Harrold fashioned skis from the arms of a collapsible garden chair, and these worked well.

The club is pleased to announce  that Phil Lydiard has passed his examiners qualification and has been added to our list of club examiners.

The club has recognised the efforts and work of former club chairman Steve Kessel as he moves to Norfolk with his wife to start his retirement. The club wish him well and as a recognition of the service shown by Steve have awarded him Honorary Membership in the hope that he may return occasionally to make good use of it.

It is with great regret to report the loss  of another great figure in the model world, sadly Ron Moulton died this morning 08.10.2010. Famed free flight, control line and scale modeller and former editor of Aero Modeller described by Aviation Modeller International as ‘Mr Aeromodeller”. The club membership extends its sypathy to his family and friends.

The Members area has now been removed as the Email system is working well and covers nearly all members.
